Does reiki cure or treat disease?

Published by noeticnotes at 9:02 pm under Reiki Edit This

It is important to realize that reiki helps restore a person’s inherent balance and supports other healing efforts, but it does not treat or cure a disease. Be wary of anyone who claims that reiki will address a specific affliction. Reiki is wonderfully beneficial; it lowers the increased stress that often accompanies the pain and frustration of coping with a disease and it works toward restoring physiological and energetic balance.

But, reiki does have limits and, sadly, there are some who capitalize on the desperation of individuals with a chronically painful condition or a diagnosis of a difficult or rarely cured disease.

I agree, There will always be someone trying to make a buck off the backs of the individuals suffering. But if you can find a good worker the reduction in stress will help in the course of the illness or disease
